Bishop Leroy O. Dyett, Jr. is the anointed son of the late Leroy O. Dyett, Sr. and Ann Morton. Born July 11 and destined for greatest, he is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and reared in Baltimore City and County Public School Systems. Upon graduating at the top of his class, he attended Western Maryland College (i.e., currently named McDaniel College) obtaining a degree in Business Administration with financial assistance from academic and athletic scholarships. With great influence of entrepreneurial parents, Elder Dyett enrolled into Catonsville Community College receiving a degree in Mortuary Science. Upon completion, he became one of the youngest licensed morticians in the state of Maryland. He further continued his educational diligence
by graduating with honors from Morgan State University with dual degrees in Religious Studies and Philosophy. Graduating Magna Cum Laude, he culminated his academic career with a Master of Divinity Degree from the Samuel De Witt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. Elder Dyett was licensed to preach by his Pastor, the late Reverend Dr. Arthur J. Benn and a product of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Bishop Dyett currently serves as a Diocesan Bishop in World Assemblies of Restoration (W.A.R) under the auspice of its Presiding Prelate, The Honorable Bishop Jonathan Wallace, Sr., and His Spiritual/Apostolic Father and Founder, The Bishop James David Nelson, Sr. Bishop Dyett accepted his calling and heard the command of God to birth a ministry. In January of 2002, The House of Judah Ministries, Incorporated was established in the city of Baltimore. The House of Judah is a place where praise has a purpose and that purpose is to praise God. Everything you need is in the House! God has performed magnificent miracles within a short period. Bishop Dyett believes in not just growing better churches, but growing people to make them better. Bishop Dyett is indefinitely married to the former Maxine Coleman, and they are the blessed parents of two wonderful children, Leroy O. Dyett, III and Madison Yorel Dyett. Bishop Dyett simply believes God and that he who shall come will come and will not tarry!
