Elder Betty Wright, Chief of Staff

Elder Betty J. Wright is the fifth child of ten children born to the late Bishop David Hickey, Sr., and his wife of 65 years, Overseer Willie M. Hickey. She also is a fifth-generation of Apostolic bishops, pastors, deacons and saints. Elder Wright is the Chief of Staff, Office of the International Presiding Prelate of World Assemblies of Restoration (WAR), Inc., The Most Reverend, Bishop Jonathan Wallace, Sr., Th.D. As chief of staff, she is as a trusted advisor and program manager responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the Prelate’s office. Some of her duties includes but are not limited to working in tandem with the presidium to develop and implement policy guidelines and strategic collaboration on national initiatives. She aptly interfaces with and independently addresses affiliate ministries’ requests.
Elder Wright is a multi-generational entrepreneur/consultant. She owns and operates a management consulting firm specializing in faith-based organizational management, human capital management, recruitment, program audits and evaluation and political campaign management. Her professional accomplishments include a Master of Arts degree in Political Campaign Management, Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Associate of Arts in Human Services, as well as various Bible College certifications. She is Spirit-filled and loves the Holy Bible. She holds a life certification in the Federal Senior Executive Service. She has also successfully completed senior management courses at the J.F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Federal Executive Institute of Charlottesville, VA., and received a certification in mediation and negotiation from Bowie State University.
When Elder Wright is not serving in ministry or professional capacities, she volunteers with non-profits helping families or assisting senior citizens with a plethora of quality of life issues. She enjoys fine dining, international travel, various music genres, and treasured time spent with her family and friends.
